    Description:
We see many messages like this in the Upgrade Express log:

The file can not be upgraded automatically. Merge manually!

Should we "manually merge" by editing v20 file and inserting data from v17 file OR just manually copy the file from v17 to v20?

    Resolution:
You need to do one of two things:

    (1) make your changes (as seen in the previous-version file) to the new-version file or

    (2) make the new-version changes to the previous-version file. The problem with the latter is determining just what the changes are.

    #1 is usually safer.
