    Description:

    ORA-01403: no data found

ORA-39097: Data Pump job encountered unexpected error 100

Finished export in library abc01 ...

No dump files were found in /exlibris/aleph/upgrade_express_1901_2001/data/a18_1/abc01/files/dpdir/cjh01

    Resolution:
I have found that the Oracle Data Pump has worked well in upgrading sites from Oracle 10 to 11. I don't understand why we are seeing these problems.

    I suggest the following:

In the upgrade_util "Export customer data" step, when it asks you:

Do you want to export using Oracle Data Pump? [yes]: no <---------------

    Respond with "no".

    Then it will ask you:

Do you want to export Z97/Z98 data? [yes]: no <---------------------

    Respond with "no" again.

This "old" way of doing the export, with their number of records (400,000 bib records), worked fine, taking about 1 hour!

You will need to run p_manage_01 to build the Word indexes once the data is on v20.
