Using the 2nd. indicator to produce different field labels

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Desired Outcome Goal:
According to the 2nd. indicator of a field the field label has to be adjusted. Adding the second indicator to the actual record does not affect the label in the cataloguing worksheet. As soon as a first indicator is entered into the record the label for the tag is changed to 'not in table'. How can this be avoided?

    Procedure:
Add a line for every possibilitiy for the 2nd. indicator like this:
    26490 Y N N L Production L Production
    26480 Y N N L Production L Production
    26470 Y N N L Production L Production
    26460 Y N N L Production L Production
    26450 Y N N L Production L Production
    26440 Y N N L Production L Production
    26430 Y N N L Production L Production
    26420 Y N N L Production L Production
    26410 Y N N L Production L Production
    26400 Y N N L Production L Production
    264 0 Y N N L Production L Production
