    Description:
In going from v18 to v20, do we need to install or have the same architecture of a v19 before we go to 20?

    Resolution:
It is *not* the case that you need to go to or have the same architecture of a v19 before you go to v20.

If you look at the scenarios for upgrading from v18 to v20 on the Doc Portal (-- and Jerry's webinar on this subject), you will see that *none* of them include such a step.

The v18 data is imported into a *v20* instance and the Upgrade Express 18->19 is executed on this date in this v20 environment. There is no need to have a v19 environment.
