Question
What is a pseudopatron in Aleph? Is it a proxy patron?

Answer
A pseudopatron is *not* a proxy patron. A pseudopatron is a sublibrary code used for in-transit purposes.

When an item which has a hold on it at another library is returned, an in-transit loan of the item occurs. The patron ID (the z36_id) used in this loan is the sublibrary-code of the library it is being sent to. This patron is referred to as a pseudopatron.
