    Question

    Where are aliases/shortcuts (such as, ae, ap, asm, wf, wr, etc.) defined?

    Answer

    Aliases are defined in two places:

    * $aleph_proc/def_lib_env
    * $alephm_root/prof_master

    Additional Information

    * A list of aliases which are active can be displayed using the "alias |more" command.
    *Sites can add aliases to $alephm_root/prof_master. (The $alephm_dev/alephm/prof_master file could be replaced by a Service Pack, but the existing version would always be saved as prof_master.sp.nnnn.)
