    Question

The MARC tag 008 always has the year, but sometimes it also shows in MARC tag 260 subfield c. Will a CCL query {such as, WSL=XXXA and WCL=BOOK and WYR = (2010 or 2011 or 2012 or 2013} cover both fields?

    Answer

As seen in the ./xxx01/tab/tab11_word file, both the 008 and the 260 $$c are indexed in WYR:

    008 F07-04 01 A WRD WYR
    260## c 03 WYR
