    Question

Which services create field 001 with Aleph system number during BIB load?

    Answer

Fix procedure fix_doc_001 creates field 001 with record's system number. This fix procedure should be applied *after* record is loaded to the database. Not all the loaders apply fix routines after the load. Please see below:

    * If you're using OCLC gateway loader from the OCLC Connexion client:, set column 5 of ./alephe/scratch/tab_oclc to "3"

    * If you're using p-manage-18, use fix routine with fix_doc_001.

    * If you're using p-file-90, use fix routine with fix_doc_001; do *NOT* use fix_doc_001 with fix routine FIL90.

    * If you're using p-file-93, use Special Fix Procedure="3". Do *NOT* use fix_doc_001 with fix routine OCLC or another fix routine that you specify as parameter.
