    Why is the pds_server Not Running?

    Description:
    There is no pds_server.log.
    How is it started? PDS is working.

    Resolution:
    The pdsroot/program/PDSDefinitions file contained this line:
    our ($debug) = "@_PDS_DEBUG";

    It needs to be changed to either
    our ($debug) = "Y";
    or
    our ($debug) = "N";

    The choice depends on whether you want PDS debug mode on or off (should PDS debug information appear in the pds_server.log or not).
