    Problem Symptoms:

    Search on Z39 gate does not work but error "Z39.50 gate error: Z39.50 target not defined" is displayed.

    Resolution:

    The following names in Z39.50 configuration must be identical in order to do a proper search, otherwise above mentions error message is displayed:

    Name from table name $alephe_tab/z39_gate/z39_gate_xxx.conf must be identical with the following entries:

    - $alephe_tab/z39_gate/z39_gate_xxx.conf: target

    - $alephe_gate/xxx.conf: Z58-BASE-REMOTE

    - Entry in $alephe_tab/tab_base.lng

    - Same base name in searbase.dat

    Additional Information

    You can use the standard configuration USM01_Z39 or LOC as example when implementing a new z39 gate.
