    Description

    When searching for a document number, Z39.50 server cannot always find the record, sometimes you get a proper result and sometimes the search is answered with "0" results.

    Resolution

    The problem occurs when the system is very loaded.

     

    This is a workaround in order to avoid the problem:
    Start an own PC server dedicated only to Z39.50 Server. This requires to add the "new" PC server port to $alephe_tab/z39_server/z39_server.conf.

    Additional Information

    Problem may occur in rare cases when the main server is heavily loaded and doesn' t answer in time.
