Problem Symptoms:
The following error is displayed in one of the log files or Apache or Aleph or PDS:

error while loading shared libraries:libclntsh.so.11.1: cannot open shared object file
Some functionalities may not be available such as creation of utf_files

Cause:
Apache was started using root and the command apachectl start and not using apachectl_auto. Therefore environment variables from aleph_start were not loaded, including the LD_LIBRARY_PATH so that program is not correctly found by apache.

Resolution:
Stop apache using ./apachectl stop
Start it using ./apachectl_auto
