    Description:
    For step 3, in the Parallel Indexing document, I have opened a new library for indexing called ABC04, using the template for ABC01. All seems to be fine there.

    However in step 3 it says initially in the root directory of the new libraries file_list should be identical to the template libraries file_list. My file_list in ABC04 is empty.

    Should I copy the one from ABC01 and then make the adjustments in the following steps?

    Resolution:
    The only entries you *have* to have in the parallel library file_list are those described later in the document:

    * the LS z00 abc01 and LS z103 abc01; and,

    * the tables/Oracle-indexes for the ALEPH index(es) you are rebuilding.

    The latter should be copied from the abc01 file_list.

    It doesn't *hurt* to copy the entire file_list and create the tables, but it's a bit wasteful (of space) since most of them will not be used.
