    Description:
We appear to be missing the z34 table in our ABC50 library. See the Feb 16 pc_server_6997.log.

We have not dropped it to our knowledge, but a background job may do this. We are not completely certain that there is a z34 table in ABC50, but the messages seems to indicate this.

    Resolution:
I see that the abc50 $data_root/file_list.oldm's contain z34 but the more recent ones do not. It seems it was removed at some point....

The z34 is very optional. The Aleph programs can be set to write it, but they don't do anything with it. You *could* do something with SQL, but most sites do not.

KB 8192-2130 talks about the options. I see that you have:

    setenv create_statistics Y

in both the pc_server_defaults and the www_server.conf.

I suggest changing both of these to

    setenv create_statistics N
