    Problem Symptoms:
manage-18 ("Load ALEPH Sequential MARC Records") runs to completion but fails to load the updated records/fields. The $alephe_scratch/xxxnn_p_manage_18 log has the following error:

    I/O error : file 'xxxxx_yyyyy'
    error code: 3/5 (ANS85), pc=0, call=1, seg=0
    13 File not found

    Cause:
    1. If the submission screen had the "Read From / Print To Adm" checkbox unchecked, manage-18 has failed to find the input file in the xxx01 $data_scratch directory.

    2. If the submission screen had the "Read From / Print To Adm" checkbox *checked*, manage-18 and the log file contains the line: "2nd param (target and user name): ,,XXX50,<username>", manage-18 has failed to find the input file in the $data_scratch directory of the ADM library associated with the specified xxx01 library.

    3. As described in Article 000018627 (p_manage_21: "File xxx does not exist" when the file *does* exist), the inclusion of uppercase characters in the name can cause the file to not be found.

    Resolution:
Change the "Read From / PrintToAdm" checkbox to the correct value and omit uppercase characters from the file name.

    Additional Information

Article 000005370 (Uncheck of ?€œRead From/PrintToADM?€? in services) discusses the default value for the "Read From / printToAdm" checkbox.
