    Question

In the Local Patron Information the ALEPH line which was there in versions before Aleph 18 is missing. Where has it gone?

    Answer

There was a change of functionality in version 18. The ALEPH patron level record is no longer created automatically and is now required only by multi-ADM sites that implement Patron Direct Queue (PDQ) or that want to enable cross-ADM circulation without requiring patrons to register at every library.

    Additional Information

If you still want this ALEPH record to be created, you may define so by setting column 22 of ./xxx50/tab/tab31 to Y.
