    Description:
We have begun using Photocopy Request functionality as part of a customized workflow in Aleph (PDF Scan Requests for offsite Storage materials). The Z38 table stores the patron ID (Z38_ID), however I notice that the Help file for cir-32 does not include Z38 as one of the tables that can be scrubbed.

Is it possible to easily modify cir-32 and include Z38? (I am doubtful since cir-32 appears to be a Cobol program...) If not, what are our options for scrubbing the patron ID from this table (short of programming something on our own)?

Thanks very much for your help,

    Mike [ <Mike Rogers > ]

    Resolution:
Since there is no z38h table and the closed z38's are retained indefinitely with z38_status of "H", that's what needs to be scrubbed.

I think the most practical thing is to write some SQL to execute weekly which scrubs the z38_id when the status = H.

If it seems that there get to be more sites using the z38, we can ask that it be added to the p_cir_32.
