    Question

How is the expiry date updated in patron loads for Local patron records with an actual sulibrary (rather than xxx50) as the Local library?

    Answer

The z305_expiry_date for records with a sublibrary as the Z305-SUB-LIBRARY are updated only by PLIF records with that sublibrary as the BOR-REC-SUB-LIBRARY. PLIF records with xxx50 as the BOR-REC-SUB-LIBRARY will *not* update these GC001 records.

This is one of the reasons that we recommend against the creation of Z305 records with actual sublibraries as the Z305-SUB-LIBRARY. It's better to create the records with "xxx50" as the Z305-SUB-LIBRARY.
