p_file_96: (0319)"Send directly" may be Y or N; Order does not exist

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 17.01

    Description:
The p_file_96 log has these errors:

    Error: problems in Z68 record: z68-rec-key - 00215143800001
    Error number: 0319
    ...
    000000001 - (0319)"Send directly" may be Y or N.
    ...
    ...Z601-CURRENCY=
    Error: problems in Z601 record: z601-rec-key - AP1-2006
    000000000000000
000000001 - Order does not exist.

Where do these errors come from?

    Resolution:
The message " 'Send directly' may be Y or N " is message 0139 in the ./error_eng/pc_acq_order. It is issued by the check_z68 program when the z68_target_flag is not one of the legitimate values (N, D, H, or M).

Prior to version 16.02 there was a Z68-TARGET-DIRECT field. The tab_yankee_def typically had:
    Z68-TARGET-DIRECT X

In converting such a table to 16.02-up, this needs to be changed to:
    Z68-TARGET-FLAG N
This can be seen in the ./usm01/import/tab_96_def.

(The "Order does not exist" message in creating the z601 results from the fact that the preceding z68 error prevents the z68 from being created.)
