    Problem Symptoms:
In running ?€œGlobal Changes (manage-21)?€? you get the following error message:

    I/O error : file 'TP1'
    error code: 4/8 (ANS85), pc=0, call=1, seg=0
148 Wrong open mode or access mode for write

    Cause:
    Parameter setting

    Resolution:
There are 2 different reasons for this error message which are described in the message *preceding* the "TP1" message in the log.

    1. Error: Can not open input file: /exlibris/aleph/a18_1/alephe/scratch/...
--> The input file is not in $alephe_scratch, as the procedure expects.

    2. Error: missing select params
    Error: missing select params
Error: No lines in param file: /tmp/utf_files/exlibris/aleph/a18_1/usm01/files/...
--> This occurs when you specify "Replace this text"/"With this text", but fail to specify a Tag in the "Line in Record" section.
    - If the text should be replaced for a particular tag, specify that tag.
    - If the text should be replaced anywhere in the record, regardless of the tag, specify "###" as the tag. (Similarly, if the replace should occur regardless of the indicator values, specify "#" as both the First Indicator and the Second.)
