    Description:
    I am having trouble running p_ret_adm_01

    Here is the batch log data:
    cataloging module
    connected to abc01
    p_ret_adm_01
    retrieve by: open date
    ABC01,,recent,,10/10/2006,10/10/2007,,,,,,,,,,,,,... Y,00,03,

    There are no items in the report output.

    What I want is a list of marc records for items added to our catalog between 10/10/2006 and 10/10/2007.

    How do I run a report to get that data?

    Resolution:
    This site was entering the dates in the form "mm/dd/yyyy". When the dates were entered in the correct form (yyyymmdd) ("20061010" and "20071010"), the job ran correctly.

    This site is on v16, but I see that v18 has the same problem.... To forestall this, the /exlibris/aleph/a18_1/aleph/pc_b_help_eng/p-ret-adm-01.html needs to have "in the form yyyymmdd" added to it as follows:

    <p><li><b>Item Open Date Filtering</b>
    - Code: Open Date
    <br>
    You can retrieve item records by their open date.
    Enter the From Date in column 1 and the To Date in column 2, in the form yyyymmdd. (Example: col1: 20060401 and col2: 20070331.)
    <p><li><b>Item Update Date Filtering</b>
    - Code: Update Date
    <br>
    You can retrieve item records by their update date.
    Enter the From Date in column 1 and the To Date in column 2, in the form yyyymmdd. (Example: col1: 20070501 and col2: 20070531.)

    This change has been requested from Development.

    This issue is still open and was escalated to Development for further investigation <2007-11-11 01:00:01>.
