Description:
In the service union-02 there is an option to set up STM fields, and an option for the candidates poolsize. If I run union-02 in lib30, i.e. in the CRS base, what are the recommended settings?

In the log of union-02 you get multiple messages that tab_stm.lng is missing in lib30/tab. Is that a problem?

Resolution:
I find that, though there's a tab_stm.eng in the usm90 $data_tab, there is none in the usm01 or usm30.

The Course Reserve matching is simpler and I don't think there will be many error messages produced by the p_union_02 in the xxx30 library, so I don't think the tab_stm is necessary.

When you submit p_union_02, the defaults are "CREATE-STM? N" and "Candidates Pool Size 100". I believe that these are what our sites have been using and there has been no problem.

(Note: I know the Help says: "... this parameter should be set to YES in the first run ...".)

Another possibility would be to copy the usm90 tab_stm.eng to your xxx30 $data_tab. That should also work.
