    Description:
Is it possible to add the title to the columns which display in the Call number Browse list? I tried including the title but it doesn't seem to work:

    /exlibris/aleph/u16_1/abc01/tab/pc_tab_col.eng

    PC_SEAR_SCAN L # Docs 01 010 01 C04 Number of Documents
    PC_SEAR_SCAN L Ref. 02 010 02 C04 Authority Referance
    PC_SEAR_SCAN L Headings 03 050 03 C02 ACC Text
    !PC_SEAR_SCAN L Title 01 065 03 C02 Title
    PC_SEAR_SCAN L Auth. info. 04 030 01 C04
    PC_SEAR_SCAN L $1 05 005 01 C01 Base-1 count
    PC_SEAR_SCAN L $2 06 005 01 C01 Base-2 count

    Resolution:
As described in KB 4087: though you can change the percentage allocated to the columns which you see when you right-click on the header, you cannot add columns. (That requires a program change.) "Title" is not one of the columns we see when we right-click on the Browse list header.

What sites have done is to build the call number index as a *Direct* index -- the system automatically adds the title to the Browse of a Direct index. (This requires adding index type "IND" entries to tab00.eng, tab11_ind, and pc_tab_sear.eng, and re-running p_manage_05.)

Note: When you add the "IND" for this new Direct index to pc_tab_sear.eng, you need to remove the "ACC" line for the index. (Otherwise, since the ACC lines are before the IND, it sees that first and uses it.)
