print 04 takes hours although uses an input file

Description:
print-04 runs for too long time.
It is searching in all z01, although an input file of few record is used.
It seems the service ignores the input file.
Please explain what seems to be the problem.

Resolution:
The process p_print_04 works in the following way:

it runs on all headings for the chosen catalog type (heading code) unless a parameter is given for "From" text and "To" text. Then, for each heading, it looks for all the docs, and checks each doc number in the input file.
