    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Description

    In upgrading from version 20 to 22, after

    1. running the Upgrade Express "2. Install customer data" step,
    2. restoring aleph_start from alephe.orig, modifying it with local values, and
    3. doing "source aleph_start",

    dlib to the local xxx01 library gives this message:
    /exlibris/aleph/u20_2/xxx01/prof_library: No such file or directory.
    (Of course, there is no "u20_2" directory, it exists only in the v20 instance, not the v22.)

    Resolution

    This problem occurred because the aleph_start.private had these lines:

            setenv    xxx01_dev          /exlibris/aleph/u20_2
            setenv    xxx10_dev          /exlibris/aleph/u20_2
            <etc.>

    Changing these to "u22_1" and doing "source aleph_start" made the dlib work properly.
