    1. Additional Information
    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Problem Symptoms:
When publish-06 ("Create Tar File for ALEPH Published Records") is run with p_update_flag = "N" and p_zip_flag null, $aleph_proc/p_publish_06 changes the value of p_update_flag to "Y".

    Cause:
A bug in the ./butil/b_publish_06_correct_param program.

    Resolution:
    Corrected by v21 rep_change 2178.

    Additional Information

The workaround is to specify "Y" for p_zip_flag (rather than leaving it empty.)
