s failing after critical patch update ( "libclntsh.so.9.0: wrong ELF class")

Description:
After critical Oracle patch update, I am getting the error below on executing s+ or sqlplus from the aleph16 user. Executing sqlpus from Oracle user is ok.

How should I proceed?

Site did:
> chmod +r /aleph/app/oracle/product/920/lib32/libclntsh.so.9.0

and
> chmod +x /aleph/app/oracle/product/920/lib32/libclntsh.so.9.0

SQLPLUS is now working.
