    Description:
I understand that the tab11_ind is used in building the Direct index; tab11_acc, the Browse; and tab11_word, the Keyword. How is tab11_aut used?

    Resolution:
Unlike the others, tab11_aut is not used in any batch indexing process. It is used in OPAC display: it controls the display of the Browse (and Find) links in the authority record pop-up which appears when you are in an OPAC Browse list and click on the "[LC Authority Record]" option which appears to the right of an authority-connected heading. In order for the authority record field to appear as a link in this display, the system must find a matching heading in the index specified in tab11_aut, column 4.
