    Description:
    We have used USER-DEF-1 to USER-DEF-5 in our abc01 tab22 successfully for some time. Now I have added USER-DEF-6 and USER-DEF-7 but find that they don't work. (They produce no z13u fields.)

    Resolution:
    USER-DEF-n" is the old form. It works for 1 - 5, but not 6-up.

    For 6-up, you need to use:

    USER-6
    USER-7
    <etc.>

    This is described in the tab22 header.

    Also, make sure the Function Code and Field/Paragraph values are in the correct columns.

      • tab22_arc - fields 650 and 856 are only transferred to ARC randomly
      • tab22: can option 2 (paragraph) be used for system tags?
