    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 15.2

    Description:
util c/7 has the same job ("00144") repeated 8 times:

    p_manage_35 00144 Holding until 20060926 00
    p_manage_35 00144 Holding until 20060926 00
    p_manage_35 00144 Holding until 20060926 00
    p_manage_35 00144 Holding until 20060926 00
    p_manage_35 00144 Holding until 20060926 00
    p_manage_35 00144 Holding until 20060926 00
    p_manage_35 00144 Holding until 20060926 00
    p_manage_35 00144 Holding until 20060926 00

When I try to delete it with util c/8, I get the following:

    Enter entry number to delete,Q = QUIT,S = SHOW:
    144

    Can't delete entry 144

    Resolution:
The following series of commands corrected this problem:

dlib xxx01 [where "xxx01" is the library]
    df1
    rm que_batch
    touch que_batch

(The "rm" deletes the existing queue and the "touch" creates a new, empty one.)
