Description:
In v20 SP 2539 (May 2010) or above, the Offline Circulation client does not display any libraries in the dropdown, even though the PC's .\Offcirc\tab\PERLIB.INI contains the correct libraries.

The v20 offcirc.exe generated by the earlier Off500.exe, dated Feb. 11, 2009, works OK.

We have a library who is is trying to use offline circ but the their ADM is not showing up in the Library field nor does the offline client default to Loan - it defaults to nothing.

The PC *does* have the correct libraries in the .\Offcirc\tab\PERLIB.INI.

This is what the offline client options are in our libserv4 exlibris/aleph/a20_3/aleph/pc_exe:

The off500.exe installs an offline client that gives no Library nor default of Loan or Return;
the Off500.exe installs an offline client that give a library and default of Loan.

Are we able to use the Off500.exe dated 02/11/2009 even though the SPs seem to update the 11/30/2010 file?

The library is going to use the offline within Circ until this is remedied but really wants to use the offline client.

Until you implement that service pack you have two choices:

1. continue to use the offline within the regular Circ client or
2. use the Off500.exe dated 02/11/2009

We strongly believe that #2 is not a problem, but have not been able to test it thoroughly.
