Following Article 000044208 (KB 5737) ("Restart Servers from job_list") (linki below), we added the following lines to the job_list:

W0 04:59:00 N server_monitor -tks WWW

Unfortunately, if there is another service running before 04:59 when the www server is stopped (p_union_04 ran several hours longer than normal on 04/05/08, for example), p_sys_01 doesn't run until the other service finishes. Is there another way to clear vir01? Or is there a way that we can force p_sys_01 to automatically run even if another service is still running?

Resolution:
p_sys_01 for the www_server (or other server) can run in any library. It does not need to run in the bib library.

Instead of:

W0 05:01:00 Y ABC01 p_sys_01 ABC01,WWW,
W0 05:02:00 Y ABC01 p_sys_01 ABC01,PC

you should have:

W0 05:01:00 Y VIR01 p_sys_01 VIR01,WWW,
W0 05:02:00 Y VIR01 p_sys_01 VIR01,PC


Note: I have changed Article 000044208 (KB 5737) ("Restart Servers from job_list") to use VIR01 rather than the bib library.
