    Description

We are unable to edit the original contact details (address/phone/email) for certain manually created public patron accounts.

The only options for contact details under "Actions" are "View" or "Duplicate". We can create new contact details, which have the option to "edit" or "delete", but we can't get rid of the original contact info entries. Our accounts should definitely have all required permissions, and we can't even edit or delete these details under the circ account they were created from.

    Resolution

It is not possible to edit an internal user with external authentication. The workaround is to create new default contact information for these users.

After a thorough examination of this defect by our development team and product manager, it has been decided that a solution for this will not be part of the current Alma work plan.
