Question:

Is it possible to change the subfield separator in the Metadata Editor, from Dollar sign ("$$") to a Double Dagger (‡)? We could not find the path for this configuration in Alma. 

Answer:

Please contact support, if you prefer changing the Customer Parameter "subfield_separator", from Dollar sign, $$ to a Double Dagger, ‡.

 

Additional Information:

Please note that even if the Institution Zone will have a double-dagger, the Community Zone records must use the Dollar sign ($$). 

To easily add a Field with its delimiters, or a subfield, please use F8 or F9 respectively.  This should automatically add the CZ delimiter ($$).
