Default item policy in Resource Sharing receiving item

Question

In our Alma there is no default set in the Item Policy drop down when receiving a Resource Sharing item.
How can we make the default to be 'inter-library loan'?

Answer

For this, you need to create a Temporary Item Creation Rule:

Fulfillment Configuration > You are configuring: Resource Sharing Library > Temporary Item Creation Rules > Add Rule

For example:

Input Parameter:
Circulation Desk = Resource Sharing Desk
Output Parameter:
Location = Borrowing Resource Sharing Requests
Item Policy = Interlibrary-Loan
