    Question

When an item is loaned the Loan Due Date is set to a date earlier than the current date.

    Answer

    • Check the library Calendar Management (Alma Configuration > Fulfillment > Library Management > Opening Hours).

    • All or some of the The Standard Opening Hours rows have the "Valid to" date in the past.

    • Because of this Alma sets the loans' due date to the last available and valid date present in the Calendar Management page.

    • Add new records for Standard Opening Hours setting a valid range of dates.

    • Click Apply Changes if required.
