    Import is still running on schedule even when the profile is set to inactive

    Question

    Why is my import profile still scheduled when it is set to a status of INACTIVE

    Answer

    There are two status in the import profile that are independent of one another.  Only the Scheduler status controls the schedule and so this must be set to inactive which will automatically select "not scheduled".

     

    Status = inactive

    Scheduler status = active 

    Job will run on schedule and will be seen in the scheduled tab of monitor jobs, but the job will not be successful 

     

    Status = active

    Scheduler status = inactive

    Job can be run manually but is not scheduled 

     

    Status = inactive
    Scheduler status = inactive

    The job will not run and will not be found in the scheduled tab of monitor jobs.
