    • Question

We have two 949 fields in the EOD, for items with different item policy creation. The same fund appears in both 949. As a result, items are created correctly, but fund created twice in the POL, as if there are two funds. How to prevent this?

    • Example:

    • =949  \\$aMAIN$o1$m1HOUR$n9780520202993$s23.95$uDRC-F$i9780520202993

      =949  \\$aMAIN$o3$m4DAY$n9780520202993$s23.95$uDRC-F$i9780520202993

      Answer

If 949 field is in use for item level information, a Fund should appear only once and in a different field, for example, 948.
The Fund cannot appear in Item level and should not appear more than once in the same record (unless there are more than one fund).
