Question

In the metadata editor when I do “file > new > Marc 21 bibliographic” a new record opens with certain fields. How can I control which fields appear here?

Answer

The fields which appear when staff user does “file > new > Marc 21 bibliographic” come from the default shared template.
Therefore if you want to change the fields which appear by default when doing “file > new > Marc 21 bibliographic” you should change the fields in the default shared template.
