How can rfr_id and sid fields sent via OpenURL from a source be retained in the OpenURL Alma sends to ILLiad?

Answer

This can be configured through the Electronic Services page
1. Go to Alma Configuration > Fulfillment > Discovery Interface Display Logic > General Electronic Services > ILLiad, and click Actions > Edit

2. In the Service Details tab > URL template, the following may appear:

3. The final element in this template is the rfr_id element

4. Replace this with {rfr_id} to retain source data

Additional Information

Configuring rfr_id elements in this way will also retain sid elements. Sid is an earlier version of rfr_id from OpenURL 0.1.
