    Description

Our Maximum Renewal Period is ignored. Loans can be renewed eternally although we set a limit in this policy in the terms of use.

    Resolution

This is one of many potential problems arising when the library calendar has expired.

Check the calendar of the relevant library:

Configuration > General > Add a Library or Edit Library Information > Libraries > (name of library) > Edit > Calendar Management.

If the standard opening hours are expired or will expire soon, extend them. (This can be done by opening and saving them without change.) Afterwards do not forget to click the "Apply changes" button.

In general it is highly recommended to check the calendar(s) on a regular basis and extend opening hours rather earlier than later.
