    Question

We've set up an Integration Profile of type 'Z39.50 Server' in Alma, in order for Talis Aspire to communicate with Alma using Z39.50.
But currently connection from Talis Aspire to our Alma fails.
So could please the following IPs be allowed to communicate with Alma?

    i) All addresses in the range 83.138.182.216/29 (CIDR notation)

    ii) 54.217.249.52

    iii) 94.236.103.175

    iv) 77.107.107.170

Can we also ensure that the correct ports are open too?

    Answer

The relevant port for Z39.50 is 1921 and it is open for all IP addresses.
The reason why in your specific case the connection failed was that there are some IP addresses configured for port 1921 in the General Configuration > Allowed Client IPs

After removing the IP addresses configured for port 1921 from the table, the problem was solved and when testing it via yaz_client I successfully get a response from your Alma institition via Z39.50.
