    Question

When a Resource Sharing Request is canceled by patron via Primo, a cancelation letter is sent to the associated RS Partner. Is it possible to prevent sending cancelation letters to Partners when a patron cancels a Resource Sharing request via Primo?

    Answer

The Ful Cancel Email Letter is designed to be sent to the Partner any time a Resource Sharing Request is canceled, regardless if it was canceled by a patron via Primo or by staff via Alma. This behavior cannot be changed. The only alternative would be to prevent patron cancelations by disabling the 'Canceled by patron' option in the associated Workflow Profile (Configurations > Fulfillment > Workflow Profiles).
