    What notices and letters are sent (and when) to patrons from Alma?

    Answer

    The following notices are sent to Alma patrons:

    Borrowed By Letter A letter sent to patrons indicating that a proxy user has borrowed an item on their behalf.

    Borrowing Activity Letter

    A letter sent to patrons that contains a list of all the patron's loans and active fines. Sent either by a job or by request.
    Courtesy Letter A letter sent to patrons that contains a list of the patron's loans that are due. Sent in a nightly job.
    Document Delivery Notification Letter A letter sent to patrons when digital material was requested and the send method on the request was Attach Documents - Link.
    Fine Fee Payment Receipt Letter A letter sent to patrons that indicates that payment has been received.
    Fines and Fees Report Letter A letter sent to patrons containing a report of the fine and fee transactions that have been performed over a 1 to 7 day period.
    Ful Borrowing Info Letter A letter sent to patrons that indicates if a loaned resource sharing item was successfully renewed.
    Ful Cancel Email Letter A letter sent to patrons that indicates that a resource sharing request has been canceled and the reason.
    Ful Cancel Request Letter A letter sent to patrons that indicates that a request has been canceled and the reason.
    Ful Digitization Notification Item Letter A letter sent to patrons who asks for material to be digitized. The letter informs the patron that the digitization request has been completed and informs the patron where the digital material can be viewed.
    Ful Lost Loan Letter see Ful Overdue And Lost Loan Letter. This is the old format of the same letter that will become deprecated in a future version.
    Ful Lost Loan Notification Letter see Ful Overdue And Lost Loan Notification Letter. This is the old format of the same letter that will become deprecated in a future version.
    Ful Lost Refund Fee Loan Letter A letter sent to patrons when a loan that was declared lost is found. Includes refund if applicable.
    Ful Overdue And Lost Loan Letter A letter sent to patrons when a loan has been declared lost. Sent either by a job or when manually changing the loan.
    Ful Overdue And Lost Loan Notification Letter A letter sent to patrons indicating that if an overdue resource is not returned, it will be considered lost.
    Ful Personal Delivery Letter A letter sent to a patron when an item is scanned in for personal delivery.
    Ful Renew Email Letter A letter sent to patrons indicating that a resource sharing request has been renewed.
    Ful Requests Report Letter. A patron report listing all requested items
    Lending Recall Email Letter A letter sent to patrons when an item is recalled and must be returned.
    Loan Receipt Letter A letter sent to patrons after items are loaned from the circulation desk.
    Loan Status Notice A letter sent to patrons about changes in the status of a loan or the due date.
    On Hold Shelf Letter A letter sent to patrons that an item is ready for pickup at the hold shelf.
    Overdue Notice Letter A letter sent to patrons that contains a list of all the patron's loans due that day. Sent in nightly job.
    PIN Number Generation Letter A letter sent to patrons when a PIN code is set in the user management screens.
    Query to Patron Letter A letter sent to patrons when additional information is required about a resource sharing request.
    Resend Notification Letter A letter sent to patrons when any other letter was not received in the first place and needs to be resent.
    Return Receipt Letter A letter sent to patrons after items are returned to the circulation desk.
    Short loan Letter A letter sent to patrons when loaning an item for a short period (number of hours), informing the patron of the due date and the fining policy.
    Shortened Due Date Letter A letter sent to patrons to notify them that the due date of their loan has been shortened.
    User Deletion Letter A letter sent to patrons before the patron is deleted that contains details of the patron’s active fines and fees.
