What purpose is the "Request Anyway" option for in Primo?

Answer

This option is enabled in Primo for signed users, when there is no item attached to a bibliographic one, but only a holding one.
On Alma side, a General Hold Request is created; it can be found in a regular way, via Resource Request Monitoring.
To fulfill the request:
Alma menu > Fulfillment > Resource Requests > Scan In Items > Create Item button > tick the Holding Type = Existing radio button > Choose > Quick Cataloging form will be opened > Fill the form > Save.
Result: Patron physical item request for newly created item is registered, the item is on the hold shelf, patron receives a letter that the item waits on the hold shelf; the item can be loaned.
