    Question

What type of user records will be re-loaded at migration cutover?
Do the user roles need to be re-assigned after reload?

    Answer

    • Users will NOT be deleted and migrated/loaded again at cutover:
All internal staff users (Account Type = "Internal", Record Type = "Staff").
All information including assigned user roles for these internal staff users will remain as is.

    • Users will be deleted and migrated/loaded again at cutover:
All internal or external public users (Record Type = "Public")
The user itself (other than their roles) will be deleted and recreated by the newly migrated user at cutover.
All user roles created/assigned during implementation are retained at cutover provided username/original patron id/Alma primary ID does not change.
No need to re-assign the user roles for those same migrated users.
