    Question

Where is the Shipping Method field displayed in Alma?

    Answer

The Shipping Method field is displayed in Purchase Orders (PO).

When PO lines are manually packaged into Purchase Orders, the Shipping Method can be selected from a drop-down field. Shipping Method will not display in PO Lines.

    Additional Information

Note that Shipping Methods can be configured from the Alma menu > Acquisitions > Acquisitions Configuration > Configuration Menu > Purchase Orders > Shipping Method.
Shipping methods can be added, deleted or re-ordered, and a default Shipping Method can be indicated.
For PO Lines that are automatically packaged into POs, the default Shipping Method will be used if a default is indicated.

More information can be found in the Alma online help. Path: Acquisitions > Configuring Acquisitions > PO Configuration Options > Configuring Shipping Methods.
