    Question

Why does Alma add portfolios when loading a file of portfolios to be deleted?

    Answer

Portfolio loader will always try to load portfolios from CZ if the electronic collection is linked to CZ. This means:

    1. When the option for complete update is selected and delete portfolios is checked -> portfolios that in the electronic collection and not in the file will be deleted, portfolios that in the file but not in the electronic collection will be activate from the CZ (if exist in the CZ electronic collection).
    2. When the option for an incremental update is selected and delete portfolios is checked -> portfolios that in the file and in the electronic collection will be deleted.
Portfolios that not in the electronic collection and in the file will be activate from CZ if they exist
