360 KB: Annual Fully Open Access Springer Databases: Titles Will Be Removed -- December 2024
What is happening to several Springer databases?
ProQuest currently has title-level information for annual Fully Open Access Databases from the provider Springer Nature in the Knowledgebase.
The annual Fully Open Access Databases no longer exist on the provider's platform. Springer currently have general fully OA databases, and not annuals. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from the annual databases and the databases will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on December 3, 2024. The databases will become zero-titles databases, and no future subscriptions will be possible.
