360 KB: IHS Inc. Databases: Titles Will Be Removed -- June 2024

What is happening to the IHS Inc. databases?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the IHS Inc. databases from provider IHS Inc. in the Knowledgebase. At this time, provider has no way to supply the up-to-date metadata.

The databases from the provider IHS Inc. are no longer being updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), those databases will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on June 30, 2024. Libraries that currently subscribe to those databases will continue to have access to those databases. However if your library is not already subscribed, you will not be able to view those databases in the Knowledgebase.

This means that those databases (and their titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for those databases. However, the databases will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before June 30, 2024:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
